摘要: Purpose: To determine whether para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) alters the sensitivity of tumor cells to ionizing radiation in vitro and vivo . Methods Materials: Cellular proliferation was assessed by WST-1 assays. The effects PABA on growth were examined with chick embryo murine models. Real-time reverse transcriptase–polymerase chain reaction Western blotting used quantify p21 CIP1 CDC25A levels. Results: Para-aminobenzoic enhanced (by 50%) inhibitory activity B16F10 cells, whereas it had no effect melanocytes. (50–80%) antitumor 4T1 tumors combination therapy increased apoptosis. Treatment expression decreased levels Conclusions: Our findings suggest that might represent a compound capable enhancing mechanism involving altered proteins known regulate cell cycle arrest.
