Pharmacological Investigations of Cholinergic Mechanisms in Schizophrenia and Manic Psychosis

摘要: During the past twenty years biological investigation of major emotional disorders has focused on possible disturbances central neurotransmission. The roles serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine have been reviewed recently (Schildkraut, 1974; Shopin et al., Goodwin Murphy, Matthysse Lipinski, 1975; Baldessarini, Berger, 1977; Berger 1978). Other recent reviews considered role alterations in balance between neurotransmitters (Janowsky 1972b; Friedhoff Alpert, 1973; Davis 1975). This chapter will focus cholinergic mechanisms pathophysiology schizophrenia affective disorders.
