摘要: Summary Embryonal and alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma probably have the same histogenesis, yet has a considerably worse prognosis is generally less responsive to treatment. The metastatic behavior of in 22 autopsied subjects was analyzed with respect histologic subtypes tumors determine whether more aggressive related greater tumor burden and/or widely disseminated metastases. Subjects embryonal tended survive longer had numbers sites at autopsy compared rhabdomyosarcoma, but these differences were not statistically significant. In addition, there no significant overall distribution metastases between rhabdomyosarcoma. most frequent from both types soft tissues (73%), serosal surfaces (64%), lymph nodes lungs (55%), bone marrow (50%). findings suggest that does vary as function length survival, mode therapy, or subtype. We propose factors such stage disease presentation location primary tumor, rather than subtype, are important variables governing therapeutic responsiveness
