摘要: In an observational study in general and internal medicine practices, 5000 patients were treated over a mean of 8 to 9 weeks with fluvastatin. The lipid-lowering effect tolerability the preparation documented. participating had age 56.1 years, 46.7% female 53% male. 62.9% primary hypercholesterolaemia, 37.1% combined hyperlipidaemia. At end study, 44.2% taking 20mg fluvastatin, 55.5% 40mg cholesterol level fell by 27.2%, LDL 38.1%. HDL increased 27.3%. triglyceride 8.6% group 20.3% On subgroup analysis, efficacy showed no dependence upon age, gender, concomitant conditions or medications. Adverse drug effects occurred only 2% patients, caused withdrawal treatment 17 (0.34%). Almost 80% investigators rated therapy fluvastatin as very good, 19.3% satisfactory 1% unsuccessful. Fluvastatin is effective well tolerated for lowering lipid levels under routine practice conditions, thus considerably reduces atherosclerotic risk patients.
