摘要: This study investigates the descriptive relevance of additivity axiom for untrained probability assessors. Most subjects followed in simple two-outcome assessments but as number events a set increased more them, and to greater degree, became ‘supra-additive’. With held constant more.subjects were supra-additive, supra-additive assessment probabilities an event containing individuating information. A major implication present is that subjective occurrence should not be assessed isolation from other its set. The implications tests normative status expected utility theory are discussed.
