摘要: We have determined, by enzyme immunoassay, daily and circadian patterns of the concentrations three peptides, which are located in ventrolateral subdivision suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN): vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP), gastrin-releasing peptide (GRP), neuropeptide Y (NPY). The contents VIP GRP, synthesized SCN, did not show rhythms constant darkness (DD). Under light-dark (LD) conditions, GRP content increased decreased over course light period then gradually recovered during dark period. Responsiveness these peptides to suggests that may transmit visual information on duration illumination. NPY, is transported from intergeniculate leaflet lateral geniculate body, showed a rhythm with peak at time 12 hr DD. This endogenous was remarkably modulated photic stimulation. LD NPY SCN exhibited bimodal peaks both dark-light transition points. Thus, convey transitions. All results indicate levels VIP, mainly regulated stimulation suggest involved mediation pacemaker.
