摘要: No decrease in blood glucose levels was found to occur fasting Myxine glutinosa over a 3-week period. After loading at 8°C the values showed maximum 1–2 hours after injection and return normal within days. About 15% of injected dose excreted. Crude hagfish insulin an approximate 5 IU/kg evoked hypoglycemia 2–3 days similar slow hypoglycemic response also obtained high doses ox insulin.
