摘要: Abstract In this study, a new aspect of anchoring tin organic moieties onto platinum is described and discussed. The approach resulted in substantial increase the Sn/Pt ratio modified Pt/SiO2 catalysts. earlier approach, adsorbed hydrogen was exclusively used for anchoring, resulting monolayer at top platinum. large excess either tetraethyl or tin-anchoring reaction. presence coadsorbents, such as oxygen, also led to amount anchored. When primary formed –SnR3 surface entities were partially decomposed, coordinatively unsaturated –SnR2 –SnR species provided additional sites next layer SnR4. types landing created anchor SnR4 neighborhood above Sn–Pt/SiO2 catalysts with exclusive tin–platinum interaction an ca. 2. Results obtained study reveal that formation organometallic takes place stepwise way, e.g. buildup occurs layer-by-layer. supported Sn–Pt bimetallic showed both high activity selectivity hydrogenation crotonaldehyde crotylalcohol.
