Magnetic and magnetoresistance in half-doped manganite La0.5Ca0.5MnO3 and La0.5Ca0.4Ag0.1MnO3

摘要: Abstract La 0.5 Ca MnO 3 and 0.4 Ag 0.1 ceramics have been prepared by sol–gel methods its magnetic properties, electronic transport properties experimentally investigated. X-ray diffraction data reveal that all samples crystallize in a orthorhombic structure with Pnma space group. Magnetic measurements of show multiple transitions, paramagnetic to ferromagnetic charge-ordered antiferromagnetic. Two metal–semiconductor transitions ( Tρ 1 2 ) are observed the electrical resistivity. The resistivity decreases when an external field is applied rendering magnetoresistive effect order 75% at temperature. All clearly unusual low temperature minimum, presumably due combined weak localization, electron–electron electron–phonon scattering. present results discussed possible explanations were given based on related theory previous reported results.
