摘要: Intestinal absorption of fluorescein isothiocyanate-labelled maternal colostral leukocytes (FITC-CL) was studied in 49 neonatal colostrum-deprived (CD) pigs from nine Minnesota miniature sows. Within 2 h postfeeding (pf), FITC-CL were absorbed the sibling's digestive tract and migrated into blood. The peak appearance blood occurred samples at 5 7 pf. By 24 pf, cells detected liver, lung, lymph nodes, spleen gastrointestinal tissues. To confirm intercellular migration FITC-CL, explant cultures CD used. Maternal observed to intercellularly migrate 48 pf between duodenal- jejunal-epithelial lamina propria submucosal spaces. Fluorescein not via ileal cultures. Unlike FITC-peripheral mononuclear (FITC-PBL) either vivo or vitro by When FITC-PBL intravenously administered siblings they distributed organs similar FITC-CL. Following exposure FITC-labelled cells, treated- mock (untreated)-pigs compared on basis PBL proliferative responses phytomitogens. Sibling CD-pigs fed showed higher T-cell phytohemagglutinin (PHA) concanavalin A (ConA), a significant stimulation (p < = 0.01) B-cell pokeweed mitogen (PWM). Pigs little PHA, ConA PWM over pigs. Similarly, influence noncellular constituents colostrum also assessed studies.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
