摘要: A flow climatology using 5 years (1983-1987) of back trajectories has been created for the Aliartos meteorological-chemical station (Greece's EMEP-station phi = 38 degrees 13'N, lambda 23 00'E) Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) trajectory model. mass were analysed to quantify contributions major source areas air pollution concentration in area Greece. The produced two times a day at 850-hPa and 700-hPa pressure surface. classified summarised order produce long range climatology. purpose this paper is use above improve understanding atmospheric transport pathways Greece (and greater south-eastern Europe) evaluate polluting potential distant regions outside country. limited chemical data available from are used conclusions reached emissions analysis. results show that reach five areas: (i) Northwest Europe, (ii) west (iii) north (iv) Asia, (v) Africa. Sector analysis concentrations also showed that: Most pollutants distances beyond 1800 km takes place, most probable industrialised countries Europe. Countries north-central Europe emit amounts (S N). Sulphate nitrate similar among sectors.
