摘要: This study presents a flow climatology for Greece based on survey of climate and synoptic weather types, five-year trajectory climatology. Isobaric back trajectories at the 850 700 hPa levels were calculated daily 0 12 Z years 1983–1987 Aliartos, EMEP station, using Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) model. Trajectories classified by direction speed to examine monthly, seasonal annual variability in characteristics. The main features are similar from year year. Dominant transport sectors NW W, followed N, SW NE. Four-day W usually originate beyond 2,400 km, while those other directions tend closer Greece. Cases most rapid occur January December. Potential pollutant source regions identified corresponding preferred distance ranges.
