摘要: This paper examine the microstructure and mechanical properties of maize stalk ash particles reinforced polyester composites with aim producing a composite material showing enhanced for engineering applications. Maize (MSAp) were added in different volume fractions into matrix at 5, 10, 15 20% respectively. Composites samples produced from these mixtures effect content on microstructural was investigated analyzed. Results scanning electron microscope (SEM) show good gradual interfacial bonding as MSAp increases while Energy Dispersive spectrometer (EDS) X-ray diffraction (XRD) that carbon is present ash. The tensile strength, modulus compressive strength value but there decrease impact strength. These results showed can be used to improve polymer use automobile building
