摘要: Lipoprotein metabolism and kinetics comprises the time-dependent processes of synthesis, transformation clearance lipids, apolipoproteins their assembled particles. By integrating explaining wealth in vitro clinical data available on lipoprotein kinetics, mathematical models can provide novel insights into underlying pathophysiology lipid disorders, as well quantify effects drugs intended for treatment. In this article, we first discuss some basic principles modeling biology drug development, then review a number recent publications which different types have been used to investigate kinetics. We conclude by posing set ten fundamental questions field that believe potentially address, effort develop effective therapies patients with high cardiovascular risk.
