摘要: The assessment of liver fibrosis provides useful information not only for diagnosis but also therapeutic decision. Although needle biopsy the is gold standard assessment, it has some technical limitations and risks. This led to development noninvasive biochemical markers fibrosis: direct which reflect extracellular matrix turnover indirect alterations in hepatic function. Markers associated with deposition or degradation cytokines implied may be used as individual combination generate an algorithm evaluate stage fibrosis. Also, predicted by using a single routine laboratory test multicomponent tests. Serum are great value patients at risk biopsy, part chronic disease avoiding invasive methods.
