Function of the quadriceps and hamstrings muscles in knees with chronic partial deficiency of the anterior cruciate ligament: Isometric and isokinetic evaluation

摘要: We assessed the isokinetic and isometric strength power profile of knees 37 patients who had a previous grade II sprain (partial tear) anterior cruciate ligament. Of knees, 11 an isolated partial ligament rupture 26 combined with medial collateral rupture. The Cybex dynamometer was used in measure ments.Eight years after injury, mean deficit injured minimal when compared uninjured side. In hamstrings both groups, relative increased significantly higher speed movement (P < 0.05).
