摘要: Objective—To determine clinical, radiographic, and scintigraphic abnormalities in outcome of horses with septic or nonseptic osteitis the axial border proximal sesamoid bones. Design—Retrospective study. Animals—8 horses. Procedure—Data collected from medical records included signalment; history; horse use; severity duration lameness; results perineural anesthesia, radiography, ultrasonography, scintigraphy; following surgery. Results—Five did not have any evidence sepsis; other 3 had sepsis metacarpophalangeal metatarsophalangeal joint digital synovial sheath. All a history chronic unilateral lameness.
