摘要: Today’s college students are significantly different from previous generations. On average, they overconfident, have high expectations, report higher narcissism, lower in creativity, less interested civic issues, and inclined to read long passages of text. They highly confident their abilities received grades school despite doing fewer hours homework than also believe equality regardless ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Strategies for teaching Generation Me include: frequent honest feedback on performance; interactive learning; explaining why the material is important; using images video clips; eliminating makeup exams exceptions; shorter textbooks.
