摘要: We have identified a Drosophila zinc-finger protein, which binds to number of sites in the transcriptional control regions pair-rule gene fushi-tarazu (ftz). The expression pattern mRNA that encodes this protein is essentially complementary ftz both prior blastoderm formation and during germband extension. propose may function by repressing inappropriate segmentation transcription embryogenesis. encoding promoter-binding has been named tramtrack (ttk).
