摘要: Abstract Three properties, the binding activity to Sephadex G-75, conformation, and extent of aggregation, concanvalin A. (con A) in alkaline pH solutions were examined with special attention time course their time-independent final values. Highly cooperative conformational changes among four subunits suggested which coupled either protonation case demetallized con A or metal metal-liganded Midpoints conversions about 8.8, 9.1 respect activity, change respectively. These values 1 higher than corresponding A: 7.9, 8.05 8.2. Each conversion took place narrow ranges. The range for loss was found be significantly lower those other two. aggregation not change. Dissociation into did take indicating strong interactions tetramer.
