摘要: Relatively little is known about large-scale spatial and temporal fluctuations in bacterioplankton, especially within the bacterial families. In general, however, a number of abiotic factors (namely, nutrients temperature) appear to influence distribution. Community dynamics Vibrionaceae are particular interest biologists because this family contains important pathogenic, commensal, mutualist species. Of special study mutualism between sepiolid squids Vibrio fischeri logei, where host seed surrounding waters daily with their partners. This seeks examine distribution respect V. logei Hawaii, southeastern Australia, southern France sampling sites. particular, we how presence squid hosts influences community population structure Vibrionaceae. We found that (temperature) biotic (host distribution) both dynamics. three sites habitat contained communities higher proportions fischeri. numbers at collection were greater than other populations; there no or patterns seen sample France, did not communities, although sampled populations significantly winter summer periods. Results demonstrate importance understanding interact
