摘要: Fundic gland polyps (FGP) have been implicated with long-term proton pump inhibitor (PPI) use. We attempted to investigate the impact of length and dosage PPI therapy on development FGP. A retrospective cohort study all patients who had gastric removed during elective upper endoscopy between March September 2007 as part a prior prospective protocol was carried out. FGP were determined histologically. Prior endoscopy, completed questionnaire regarding use (no use, 1–48 months, >48 months). The obtained via thorough chart review electronic medical records. Three hundred eighty-five reporting (252 [65.4%] PPI). On 55 polyps, majority (43/55, 78%) being FGP, resulting in an overall prevalence 11.1% (43/385). univariate analysis, associated Caucasian race (15 vs. 6%; P = 0.009) chronic (>48 months) (31.9 7.5%, P  48 months (P = 0.001, odds ratio [OR] 4.7 [2.0–12.9]). only independent predictor our duration greater than 48 months. Increased did not significantly
