摘要: Background and Aim:  Traditionally the most common gastric polyps are hyperplastic (HPs). However, in last two decades, fundic gland (FGPs) have greatly increased Western countries. We aimed to re-evaluate compare distribution of a northern Chinese population 2000 2010. Methods:  Consecutive patients with detected 2010 were analyzed biopsies re-evaluated. Data including patients' age, sex, symptoms number, size, location, Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection recorded. Results:  A total 6784 17 337 underwent esophagogastroduodenoscopy 2010, 68 183 diagnosed polyps, respectively. H. pylori decreased from 54.4% 37.7% (P = 0.017). Overall, spectrum changed (P < 0.001). HPs accounted for 28.3% 48.5% 20.8%, adenoma/carcinoma inflammatory also decreased. FGPs present 50.6% 8.8% 66.1%. The location was an increase corpus. There high proportion females, while adenomas/adenocarcinomas more males. pattern similar young elderly patients. Conclusions:  Spectrum change observed over past 10 years likely due higher FGPs. Further studies required investigate reasons confirm whether it will lead different management strategy China.
