MiR-29a-3p suppresses cell proliferation in laryngocarcinoma by targeting prominin 1

摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are known to play a regulatory role in various cancers including laryngocarcinoma. MiR-29a-3p is potential tumor-suppressive miRNA, but its function laryngocarcinoma unknown. The purpose of this study was investigate the roles miR-29a-3p Prominin1 (PROM1) predicted as target gene and verified using luciferase reporter assay. Transfection into two cell lines indicated that could decrease proliferation enhance chemotherapy response by targeting PROM1. PROM1 expression up-regulated cells when down-regulated.
