摘要: Optical devices and waveguides using a thin film optical waveguide having two dimensional array of perturbations associated therewith or with adjacent optically coupled layers. The is regular forms periodic variations in non-coincident directions which serve to reflect scatter light waves into controllable transverse modes propagation. Lasers as well passive are disclosed.
