摘要: Natural gas has a high auto-ignition temperature, requiring compression ratios and/or intake charge heating to achieve homogenous ignition (HCCI) engine operation. It is shown here that hydrogen in the form of reformed helps lowering temperature required for stable HCCI been addition advances start combustion cylinder. This result minimum occur during stroke, resulting advanced same temperatures. paper documents experimental results using closed loop exhaust fuel reforming production hydrogen. When this introduced into engine, decrease air requirement observed range loads. Thus given lower loads can be achieved. would translate an extension load boundary temperature.
