摘要: Non-specific effects (NSE) or heterologous of vaccines are proposed to explain observations in some studies that certain have an impact beyond the direct protection against infection with specific pathogen for which were designed. The importance and implications such remain controversial. There several known immunological mechanisms could lead NSE, since it is widely recognised generation immunity initiated by non-specific innate immune may also wider on adaptive function. However, there no published demonstrate a mechanistic link between phenomena clinically relevant NSE humans. While highly plausible do their magnitude duration, thus importance, uncertain. Although WHO recently concluded current evidence does not justify changes immunisation policy, further sufficient size quality needed assess all-cause mortality. This provide insights into vaccine immunobiology important infant health survival.
