摘要: Objective: To evaluate endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) and systemic microvascular function in patients with severe hypercholesterolemia, comparing the definite familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) phenotype (DFH) or probable/possible FH (PFH). There is a large spectrum of atherosclerotic disease between these two clinical phenotypes FH, to acquire further knowledge pathophysiology vascular both desirable. Methods: Subjects defined as low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) >190 mg/dL, were classified DFH PFH underwent measurement number EPCs by flow cytometry evaluation cutaneous reactivity using laser speckle contrast-imaging system iontophoresis acethylcholine (ACh) sodium nitroprusside. CD45- CD45low, CD34+CD133+CD309+ cells. Categorical variables compared Fisher test continuous Student t Mann-Whitney test, value p < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Patients had higher LDL-C than those PFH. no difference median PFH, but there significant reduction endothelial-dependent, ACh-induced vasodilatation former. Conclusion: have impaired endothelial-dependent indicating more
