摘要: Abstract The MIS3 paleosol units comprise a prominent element of the loess-paleosol sequences throughout Eurasian Loess Belt. To north loess regions, findings paleosols were few: it was supposed that geomorphic processes related to extensive ice cover Last Glacial Maximum destroyed earlier soil mantle. Recently, much smaller extent continental in east Northern Europe and ice-free West Siberian Plain during MIS2 has been hypothesized, supposing preservation paleopedological records. We discovered center-north European Russia (Upper Volga basin) Western Siberia (Middle Ob basin), within Late Pleistocene alluvial lacustrine correlated studied profiles on basis macro- micromorphological characteristics radiocarbon datings organic materials. Paleosols are represented by hydromorphic with Histic horizons gleyic color pattern. Conspicuously, they developed well drained positions, where modern soils non-gleyic. suppose presence permafrost responsible for water logging generation reductomorphic environment. further hypothesize northern zone mantle, comprised Reductaquic Cryosols different from synchronous Cambisols Chernozems formed south.
