摘要: With steadily rising revenue and large numbers of clinical trials utilizing novel treatment strategies, the field neuro-oncology is at core growing cancer therapy industry. In June 2012, Weill Cornell Brain Tumor Center hosted first Biotech Summit as a forum for fostering encouraging collaboration between researches investors to accelerate treatments brain cancer. This event brought together neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, academicians, entrepreneurs, non-profits, CEOs in an attempt bring innovative concepts fore. Specific subjects presented meeting included new surgical devices delivery techniques, targeted therapeutics, immunotherapy, stem cell biology. The mission summit was provide opportunities researchers directly interact with leaders from investment community insight into commercial aspects our work. Our shared goal shorten time basic science ideas be translated setting. following serves progress report on biotech industry neuro-oncology, Summit.
