摘要: Integrated facies and diagenetic analyses within a sequence stratigraphic framework were carried out on mid-Cretaceous Sarvak carbonate reservoirs in five giant supergiant oilfields the central southern parts of Dezful Embayment, SW Iran. Results analysis indicate homoclinal ramp-type platform for this formation with frequencies different associations six wells reflecting their approximate position sedimentary model. Diagenetic studies periods subaerial exposure intensities durations upper carbonates producing karstified profiles, dissolution-collapse breccias, thick bauxitic-lateritic horizons. Sequence interpretations show that tectonic evolution NE margin Arabian Plate (Zagros Basin) during Cenomanian–Turonian times shaped characteristics, features, strongly influenced reservoir formation. Reactivation basement-block faults halokinetic movements (related to Hormoz salt series) middle Cretaceous, resulted development several paleohighs troughs Embayment hydrocarbon province. Movements these structures generated two locally three disconformities Formation region. The played an important role giant-supergiant (including Gachsaran, Rag-e-Safid, Abteymour oilfields) but where are absent quality is low.
