摘要: The South Pars gasfield (offshore southern Iran) has been investigated in detail recent studies terms of depositional, diagenetic and reservoir properties the Permian-Triassic carbonate succession. In present paper, a variety flow unit approaches were applied to identify (flow) non-reservoir (baffle or barrier) units within carbonates. zonation scheme was based on three approaches; (i) identified using stratigraphic modified Lorenz plot (SMLP) method; (ii) hydraulic parameter known as zone indicator (FZI); (iii) petrophysical (PFUs) determined pore throat radius (R35) water saturation (Sw) parameters. Studies at both macro- micro-scales showed that controlled by depositional features. order construct model, PFUs correlated between four wells studied sequence framework. SMLP-derived appeared be distributed homogenously succession resulting layer-cake architecture. By contrast, FZI-derived drew attention presence small-scale heterogeneities reservoir. A comparison these methods model derived from included greater vertical horizontal heterogeneities, especially Upper Dalan Member (upper K4 unit). This due depositional/diagenetic lateral directions, parameters PFU method. PFU-derived closer relationship actual performance than other can therefore used basis for future dynamic simulation.
