摘要: Four “supergiant” and numerous giant gasfields have been discovered in the Zagros area of SW Iran. The are concentrated eastern part foldbelt, Fars Province adjacent offshore, produce from Permo-Triassic carbonates equivalent to Khuff Formation. belong upper member Dalan Formation overlying Kangan Reservoir rock quality is strongly influenced by tectonic setting depositional environment, also diagenesis. highest reservoirs occur oolitic shoal facies; fracturing (especially onshore fields) dolomitisation (in offshore reservoir quality. Anhydrite plugging common fields, while calcite cementation dominant reservoirs. Facies variations Dalan-Kangan Formations appear correspond syndepositional palaeohighs depocentres. In Eastern (Fars area), thickening corresponds a Mid-Late Permian depocentre referred here as Basin. As result sea level fall, this evolved into hypersaline lagoon with evaporite deposition (Nar Member). Triassic, palaeohigh indicated thinning facies changes Formation. The results study draw attention Formations. Much variation was due influence Qatar-Fars Arch.
