摘要: The use of synthetic dyes is commonplace in many industries, and the effluent often dumped into environment with no prior treatment. aim present study was to analyze an industrial strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Meyen) for removal textile dye Acid Blue 161 from aqueous solution. Kinetic, isotherm, thermodynamic models were created evaluate biosorption mechanisms. Fourier transfer infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy used characterize identify possible binding sites. A toxicity test also performed using Artemia salina degree following kinetic results demonstrated occurrence intraparticle diffusion yeast cells as controlling mechanism sorption process. Biosorption followed Langmuir model, except at pH 8.50, when it fit Freundlich model. demonstrate that process spontaneous endothermic. FT-IR analyses confirmed a chemical reaction acid pH, but physical adsorption only occurred 8.50. showed biomass led complete solution, demonstrating effectiveness treatment effluents contaminated these compounds.
