摘要: Abstract Ultraviolet laser desorption/ionization out of an absorbing matrix has been successfully used to generate molecular ions proteins in the mass range up 120 000 dalton. The actual upper limit generated is most probably set by ineffective ion detection rather than formation process. Molecular weight determination with a time-of-flight spectrometer facilitated intense signals multiply charged and cluster ions. No fragment were observed above 1000 Cluster 200 accuracy so far better 0.5%; 20–100 ng protein for preparation, less 1 pg was consumed complete spectrum. Because ease preparation measuring time just few minutes this technique should become valuable tool biopolymers.
