摘要: Nonlinear optics is a fascinating field, which plays vital role in the emerging field of photonics and optoelectronics. A new nonlinear optical crystal glycine mixed L-valine picrate (GVP) have been grown from saturated aqueous solution by slow evaporation method at temperature 36°C using constant bath accuracy ±0.01°C. The synthesized organic material has purified repeated recrystallization. Single X-ray diffraction analysis made to determine cell parameters it confirms lattice be orthorhombic. UV-vis-NIR spectrum recorded for GVP crystals range 190 nm 1100 found that cut-off 450 nm. Fourier transform infrared transmission confirmed presence functional group present title compound. KBr pellet technique. (1)H (13)C NMR spectra elucidate molecular structure crystals. second harmonic generation (SHG) Kurtz-Perry Nd:YAG laser as source.
