摘要: This work reports on the optical properties of L-alanine crystals grown from aqueous solution using well-known slow evaporation method. Linear including absorption spectra and refractive indices are determined, as well nonlinear second harmonic generation (SHG), such phase-matching loci efficiency. Although SHG efficiency is smaller than those other known materials, study very important since it part more complex aminoacids L-arginine asparagine, with much higher Some mechanical also presented, namely hardness thermal expansion coefficients.
