摘要: Autophagy delivers cytoplasmic material to the lysosome for degradation, and has been implicated in many cellular processes, including stress, infection, survival, death. Although regulation role that autophagy plays survival is apparent, its involvement during cell death remains relatively unclear. In this thesis I summarize what known about roles can play death, differences between utilization of nutrient deprivation Utilizing Drosophila melanogaster as a model system, both these contexts be studied. The goal provide better understanding regulatory mechanisms distinguish mechanism mechanism. From my studies was able determine microRNAs regulate vivo, microRNA miR-14 controls specifically destruction larval salivary glands melanogaster. found regulates through modulation IP3 calcium signaling, control signaling does not influence induction deprivation. Therefore, knowledge demonstrates how regulated use providing insight into used treat diseases.
