摘要: Abstract Fever of 10 mo duration in a man 35 yr was discovered at the time second laparatomy to be caused by actinomycotic infection liver. Actinomycosis liver usually presents as large single or multiple abscesses. In this patient only nonspecific cellular infiltrates were found biopsies performed after 4 fever. Not until had elapsed miniscule abscesses detected. It took an average 8 make diagnosis our and 6 others like him reported since 1928. Exploratory surgery required for all them.
