摘要: When cells of Escherichia coli are grown in the presence deoxyribonucleosides with glucose or glycerol as carbon sources following enzymes induced: deoxyriboaldolase, thymidine phosphorylaae, deoxyribomutase, and purine nucleoside phosphorylase. Experiments mutants deficient one support conclusion that formation deoxyribose5-phosphate is required for this induction. Two these enzymes, deoxyribomutase phosphorylase, also induced ribonucleosides. Evidence presented case phosphorolysis added nucleosides not induction and, furthermore, adenosine gives rise to only after prior deamination inosine. Addition glycerol-grown strains an unspecific catabolizing general.
