摘要: The TITAN facility for precision mass measurements of short-lived isotopes is currently being constructed at the ISAC radioactive beam TRIUMF, Vancouver, Canada. Current status and developments in project are reported. A new method cooling highly charged ions (HCI) with singly a Penning trap, critically needed measurements, presented. Estimates show that technique promising can be applied to isotope without recombination losses.
