摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the expression of exogenous proteins in cells with regulated secretory pathways. During last 10 years, much progress has been made study protein sorting, processing, and transport by expressing capable secretion. Most these advances have used four model cell lines: mouse pituitary corticotroph line AtT-20, rat growth-hormone secreting lines GH 3 /GH 4 C 1 , insulin-secreting PTC derived from transgenic mice SV40 T antigen, pheochromocytoma PC12. focuses on AtT-20 PC12 cells. The characteristic product this is polypeptide hormone ACTH, a primary regulator glucocorticoid secretion adrenal cortex. contain an additional type vesicle that mediates neither constitutive nor biosynthetic pathway.
