摘要: Aim: The aim was to study the seroconversion and development of egg yolk immunoglobulins in adult laying White Leghorn hens immunized against an isolate enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) bearing K91 K88ac antigens, obtained from diarrheic piglet. Materials Methods: Adult were with inactivated enterotoxic E. strain isolated originally a case piglet diarrhea following recommended schedule. whole antibodies isotype-specific serum measured using indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Piglets suffering fecal samples positive for ETEC fed compared control group. Results: ELISA antibody titer used present as high 2666.66±307.92 933.33±203.67 respectively on 50 day-post-vaccination (DPV). immunoglobulin Y (IgY) predominant isotype yolk, which reached peak 2200±519.61 40 DPV 800±244.94 DPV. IgM found be meager, no IgA could detected. Diarrheic piglets suspension showed promising result controlling diarrhea. Conclusion: Egg are considered suitable immunotherapeutic alternative conventional antibiotic therapy. High raised hen holds potential passive protection during their most susceptible period infection.
