Phase formation and characterization of high Curie temperature xBiYbO3–(1 − x)PbTiO3 piezoelectric ceramics

摘要: Abstract Novel perovskite x BiYbO 3 –(1 −  )PbTiO (BYPT) crystalline solutions were prepared by conventional ceramic processing. The effect of on the microstructure and electrical properties was investigated, reaction mechanism phase formation discussed. results show that proper calcining temperature is 860 °C optimum sintering 1140 °C. It difficult for BYPT ceramics to obtain phase-pure structures. Pyrochlore Yb 2 Ti O 7 formed TiO decomposed from –PbTiO at high temperature. With increasing content, pyrochlore increases, which resulted in decrease densities piezoelectric constants. dielectric constants range 100–700 room tan  δ less than 4%. with Curie temperatures >500 °C are obtained. 0.1BiYbO –0.9PbTiO a very promising material high-temperature (up 550 °C) applications T c , stable d 33 thermal-depoling
