摘要: Acetate can be used as an electron donor to stimulate 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), which has not been determined under methanogenic condition. This study applied high-throughput sequencing and inhibition approaches investigate the 2,4-D degradation process using enrichments obtained from paddy soil. addition significantly promoted degradation, was 5-fold higher than in acetate-unsupplemented terms of rate constant. Dechloromonas Pseudomonas were dominant degraders. Methanogenic experiments indicated that independent methanogenesis. It proposed accelerated acetate-supplemented enrichment involved unusual interaction, where members acetate oxidizers primarily oxidized produced H2. H2 utilized by degraders degrade 2,4-D, but also partially consumed hydrogenotrophic methanogens produce methane. The findings presented here provide a new strategy for remediation 2,4-D-polluted soils.
