摘要: We extend our investigation of cytonuclear selection by determining when differential between the sexes will generate allele frequency changes or disequilibria in populations with constant viability and an adult census. demonstrate analytically that there can be a hitchhiking effect upon selectively neutral marker either sex provided other is selected allelic disequilibrium loci females. Cytonuclear are generated de novo both affect fitness females nonmultiplicative interaction them. Similar interactions males male only. Through numerical analyses, we investigate potential magnitude such disequilibria, their qualitative dynamics, expected detectable under particular patterns strengths selection, possible sign resulting from selection. These adult/viability results subsume those for gamete census fertility Although previous work suggests may difficult to detect experimentally, this study shows at life stages differences useful markers presence strength
