摘要: The cavernous sinus is traditionally described as a single anatomical compartment that contains cranial nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. A detailed analysis of 45 infant 4 fetal parasellar regions shows this view must be modified. spatial arrangement, the topographic relations, expansion adipose tissue spaces were analysed reconstructed 3-dimensionally on computer. It shown 3 different compartments, which are strictly demarcated by tissue, compose region infants. Two represent intracranial continuations extracranial spaces. 3rd corresponds to so-called ‘cavernous sinus’ adult. Each compartments characteristic bodies. Because represents only one area, we propose use term ‘parasellar region’ designate entire either side sella turcica.
