摘要: Abstract A postbuckling analysis is presented for a simply supported, shear deformable functionally graded plate with piezoelectric actuators subjected to the combined action of mechanical, electrical and thermal loads. The temperature field considered assumed be uniform distribution over surface through thickness electric only has non-zero-valued component EZ. material properties materials (FGMs) are in direction according simple power law terms volume fractions constituents, both FGM layers temperature-dependent. governing equations based on higher order deformation theory that includes thermo-piezoelectric effects. initial geometric imperfection taken into account. Two cases in-plane boundary conditions considered. two step perturbation technique employed determine buckling loads equilibrium paths. numerical illustrations concern behavior perfect imperfect, geometrically mid-plane symmetric plates fully covered or embedded under different sets loading conditions. effects played by rise, fraction distribution, applied voltage, character conditions, as well imperfections studied.
