摘要: In this chapter the current knowledge of diversity piezophiles isolated so far is reviewed. The originated from high-pressure environments such as cold deep sea, hydrothermal vents, and crustal rocks. Several “stress” conditions can be experienced in these environments, particular high hydrostatic pressure (HHP). Discoveries abundant life diverse (deep biosphere) support existence an adaptation to HHP. At least 50 piezophilic piezotolerant Bacteria Archaea have been different deep-sea but do not by cover large metabolic known microorganisms thriving biospheres. field biology has suffered essentially requirements for retaining sample containments culturing laboratory equipment, which technically complicated expensive. Only a few prototypes HHP bioreactors developed number research groups could explain limited up till now.
