摘要: This paper presents the wear and damage behaviours of wheel/rail material ER8 U71Mn under same cycles condition, which were explored using a double-disc rolling testing device. The morphology worn surface cross sections observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM) electron (SEM). Results show that microstructure wheel steel includes ferrite, pearlite upper bainite. As increased, weight loss containing bainite is significantly increased when compared with ferrite–pearlite steel, plastic layer more deformed than steel. deformation easier pearlite, cementite in granularity short rod-shaped. With only ferrite microstructure, main mechanism varies from oxidative to adhesive eventually into fatigue wear. When composed bainite, changes ploughing abrasive wear, ultimately
